What is a longlegged Napoleon? When Napoleons have kittens, they can produce shortlegged kittens as well as longlegged kittens. Obviously, it is the short legs that give the Napoleons their "look" and are the more desired ones in the litter. As it is the short legs that we strive to produce, they are referred to as "standard" thus the longlegged kittens in those litters are referred to as "non-standards."
