The World of Colors

The Napoleons come in shorthaired versions and longhaired versions and in every color imaginable.   This page is dedicated to the unique and rare colors that are available to us as we enjoy all the other delicious and wonderful traits of our little Napoleons.  We might as well have it all - the short adorable legs, the affectionate and playful personalities, and a dazzling array of gorgeous colors.  There is a color chart at the bottom for those who need resource material, but first, let me begin a gallery of color categories.  I will slowly compile more and more pictures as I have access to good pictures.

Varieties - Of course genetics can be combined. If you look closely, you can see that
bicolor can come in any color or effect (effects like tabby, shaded, smoke, or point, etc.). You can see the pointed (like a Himalayan effect) can come in more colors than you ever thought possible (blue smoke point, chocolate point, lilac lynx point, tortie point bicolor, etc.). Even whites "mask" (as we refer to it) a different color meaning that the cat's color genetically is something else but the "white" more or less whitewashes over that color....and only then when you breed that cat do you truly know what colors of kittens you might produce as you discover what color that the white cat masks. So, here at Creators, I have tried to pack those color genetics full. I try to have as much bicolor as possible since I prefer bicolor over solids. I try to have all cats color point carriers, and I try to have all cats carry chocolate too. All of this plus fusing together these interesting colors and hues and effects to create a tapestry of unusual and exotic colors.
